Blood Donation Camp - 29th March, 2026 at Dehradun

Chardikla Welfare Foundation organised a blood donation camp on 29th March, 2026 at Dehradun in association with Uttarakhand blood centre.

More than 50 units were collected in this blood donation camp. Captain Dr. Suresh Kumar Saini was also present at the Camp and was awarded the ‘Global Humanitarian Life Saver Award’ by Chardikla Welfare Foundation at this occasion for saving lives with the highest blood donations in India. Captain Dr. Suresh Kumar Saini is a four time padmashri award nominee and his name has been mentioned in more than 50 National and International book of records for donating blood more than 254 times,which is the highest in the country.

Captain Dr. Saini said ” I am happy to see many first time donors at this camp.Blood donation does not make the body weak in fact it has a positive impact on your Mental and Physical health. I congratulate Chardikla Welfare Foundation and Uttarakhand Blood Centre for organising this camp and I am happy to see that the majority of donors are youngsters and female donors have also participated in the camp.”

Àasteek Thapliyal, director of Chardikla Welfare Foundation also donated blood at this camp and said “Health and fitness awareness is one of our foundation’s core pillar of action and also a part of our founder, Tejinder Singh’s vision of building a fit and strong nation.We organised this camp to generate awareness about general misconceptions regarding blood donation and to educate youngsters about the health benefits of blood donation.Our foundation is also planning to establish several health and social wellness centers accross the Nation where such blood donation camps will also be organised at a regular basis along with other initiatives to serve humanity.”

Mr.Narendra Singh Negi,Managing Director of Uttarakhand blood centre and Chandrapal Negi, Nodal Officer of Uttarakhand blood centre were also present at the occasion and shared the relevant information with the donor’s health through blood tests.

Shubham Maurya,Rahul Verma,Sumit Yadav,Rajat Chauhan,Akash Kannaujia, Kamal Sharma,Pradeep Aswal,Raja Sharma, Gourav Jaiswal,Pankaj Gusain and Amar played a crucial role in organising this camp.
